Well dressed men attract women … it’s plain and simple

There are endless ways in which to attract girls, just as there are endless types of girls out there. Flirting, eye contact, subtle smiles, being confident. Those are all important, but what you’re going to look at now is about one aspect that can make or break that attraction. Specifically, clothes.

“Clothes make the man.” This little quote from Mark Twain has been around for over a hundred years and still is true today. When attracting girls, before they decide if they want to be with you, they evaluate what you wear. They’re not trying to be snobs, they’re just detail oriented. (By the way, the rest of that quote is “Naked people have little or no influence on society.” Of course, Mr. Twain never had Playboy!)

You don’t have to dress like a model to dress well. You DO have to dress appropriate to the occasion. Your favorite football teams jersey might be alright for going out to a game and a sports bar afterwards, but going to a movie and dinner after, well, you need to dress a little better. A nice shirt and/or sweater, a decent pair of pants and dark leather shoes need to be the attire.

Don’t be boring in your dress. If you’re wearing a suit and tie, make the tie a brighter color. If you’re wearing the type of clothing mentioned above for the movie and dinner, wear a sweater with some color in it besides black, blue or brown. Shine your shoes. You don’t have to be gaudy, just not dull.

You don’t have to look like you’re ready for a black tie event all the time, but you do need to look better than the other men who are around. Be polished, be neat, be clean. Take pride in what you wear. When you look like a million bucks, you’ll attract a million dollar girl.

4 Tips For Attracting Girls

Humor in and of itself is not the proven method for attracting women. When humor is used skillfully, the results are phenomenal. Women LOVE to laugh. They love to have fun. They love to tease and to be teased. The skill is in knowing how, when, and how much humor to use.

Use your body language. Your words account for about 7% of your conversation. Your body language accounts for about 80%, with facial expression and tone of voice accounting for the other 13%. Women are constantly reading people. No, they can’t read your mind, but they are naturally intuitive about people. It’s in their genes. Be relaxed in your body language. This includes smiling, making eye contact, laughing, leaning toward her, and so forth. All the humor in the world won’t do you a bit of good unless she knows that it’s meant for her.

Be a bit of a show off. Everyone knows who’s the show off in the room. Believe it or not, women are attracted to this, as long as it’s not mean-spirited or used too much. Women like this trait because they are drawn to someone who can take charge of a situation. They also like to be with someone who’s smart. How does being a show off do that? When you can attract everyone’s attention and make people laugh at outrageous things you come across as friendly. That talent means that you’re fun to be with, you’re not boring, and you know where the lines of decency are. Therefore, you’ll be fun, adventurous, and will respect her.

Be playful with her. Playing around with your mates is ok, but when it comes to women, a lot of guys turn into jelly. Women like to play, too. They like the challenge of the game. Remember, she’s there for a reason, too. She loves to banter back and forth, as long as it’s kept fun and light.

Make her the center of your attention. Women love it when you focus on them. When you’re being funny in a crowd, focus some of that humor on her in a positive way. Compliment her laugh or smile. Say she has a great sense of humor. If you feel daring, challenge her to a battle of wits. Be careful with this last one. It can cut both ways. Remember to keep things positive and lavish the attention on her.

Humor is one of the easiest and most revealing tools you can use. You not only have some fun yourself, but you’ll find out about her sense of humor as well. She may be an introvert who doesn’t know how to have fun, or she may be fun-loving free spirit. Which one would you choose? You’ll know when you use humor.
