Being an alpha male is nothing more than displaying your personal power in the presence of others. The alpha male is the male who takes charge and leads ‘the pack’. The reason alphas are so capable of doing this is because they have an extreme amount of self confidence.

Self confidence is attractive to men and women alike. Nobody is so appealing as the person who’s self assured. On the flip side, though, nobody is so repulsive as the know-it-all jerk who never listens to anyone. You’ve met them. They know everything so they don’t listen to anyone.

When you’re dating it’s important to display a balanced image. While women are highly attracted to the powerful self confidence that you display, they’re also turned off immediately if you show no sensitivity whatsoever. Each woman is different and you’ll have to do a personal assessment of the woman you’re with to determine the fine balance between confidence and sensitivity.

This is done by actively listening to the woman. Listen to what she’s saying and think about it. Consider it and let her know you’re considering it by making comments that relate to what she’s saying. Asking questions about what she’s talking about is also helpful. It will let her know that you don’t think you know it all.

Be careful, though, to ask the right kind of questions. If you ask questions that challenge her you’ll defeat your purpose. Ask questions that when answered will put her in the best light. By letting her answer those questions you’ll give her self confidence and this will make her feel much better about you. Women love to teach and if you let her teach you something you’ll ‘relate’ to her much more than the average guy.

Be careful not to be too sensitive to her. If you connect with her emotions too deeply you’ll be driven by them just as she is and that will make you look weak. Remember, she wants a strong sensitive man not just a sensitive man.
